June 30, 2002 - Whew! Lots of Royal News today.

June 29, 2002 - Completely updated the Princess Diana book list and added two new books about Diana due to be published soon. Also updated the Royal News page.

June 28, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. Also updated the Royal Books page with new royalty books published in July 2002. The featured book of the week is The Forgotten Queens of Islam by Fatima Mernissi.

And if you like fiction, check out July's Featured Novel of the Month: The Twentieth Wife by Indu Sundaresan. Set in 17th century India, it tells the true story of one of India's most legendary and controversial empresses.

June 27, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. Added books about the Byzantine Empire, Peter the Great, the Last Romanovs, Edward IV, Cleopatra, Elizabeth I, Princess Diana, and The French Revolution.

June 21, 2002 - The featured book of the week is Queen Victoria: A Biographical Companion by Helen Rappaport. It covers all aspects of the queen's life, giving specific details on her children, friends, interests, and era.

June 17, 2002 - In response to visitors' requests, I've added a new Royal Movies and Documentaries page. If your favorite video or DVD about royalty isn't listed on this site yet, let me know! -- I'll add it if I can. Also updated the Royal News page; added books about the Order of the Garter; and added books and links about the Kents.

June 15, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page.

June 14, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. The featured book of the week is Cleopatra's Heir by Gillian Bradshaw, a novel that imagines what might have happened if Caesarion, son of Julius Caesar and Cleopatra, had survived to adulthood.

June 13, 2002 - I've added a new section about Britain's royal House of Hanover, including pages on King George III, King George IV, the Regency, and a full article about Caroline of Brunswick (the scandalous wife of George IV).

June 12, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page.

June 11, 2002 - Added books and links about Sikkim (including the autobiography of Hope Cooke, an American who married the king of Sikkim). Updated the Royal News page. Added links about royalty in the Americas, Egypt, India, and Belgium.

June 10, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. Added more books about the Wars of the Roses.

June 9, 2002 - A note: If you receive e-mail that is apparently from the royalty.nu domain, it is NOT from this website. I do not send e-mail from this domain, and neither does anyone else. I use another e-mail address to reply to any mail you may send me, and I will never send you an attachment or spam you with ads. There are viruses circulating that can fake e-mail addresses, so be warned.

June 8, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. Added new links to the Royal Collectibles and Royal History pages.

June 7, 2002 - The featured book of the week is Massacre at the Palace: The Doomed Royal Dynasty of Nepal by Jonathan Gregson. Despite the sensational title, this is a serious look at Nepal's royal history. It's a bit short and has no index (not many pictures, either), but it's well-written and paints an amazing picture of the royal family's violent past. Recommended.

June 6, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. Added books about Egypt and Louis XIV.

June 5, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. Added books about European Royalty and World Royalty.

June 4, 2002 - Added more information, books, and links about Dutch Royalty. Updated the Royal News page.

May 31, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. Added links about the British monarchy. Added books about Palaces and Cleopatra. Updated the Royal Bookstore with new royal books published in June 2002. The featured book of the week is Queen and Country: The Fifty-Year Reign of Elizabeth II by William Shawcross.

May 30, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page. Added books and links about Iraq. Also added books about German Royalty, Japanese Royalty, and Henry VIII.

May 29, 2002 - Added books about Polish Royalty, Indian Royalty, Leopold III, the Man in the Iron Mask, the Queen of Sheba, Elizabeth I, Queen Anne, Queen Victoria, and the Windsors.

May 28, 2002 - The Royal News page has been updated again. I also made some revisions to the Eleanor of Aquitaine and Belgium articles.

May 26, 2002 - Updated the Royal News page.

May 25, 2002 - Added new books about British Royal History, King Arthur, Henry VIII, the Tudors, Ethiopian Royalty, German Royalty, and Egyptian Royalty. Also added links about Egypt.

May 24, 2002 - Added a new page about Royalty in Morocco. Updated the Royal News page. Added books and links about Botswana. The featured book of the week is Northern Crowns by John Van Der Kiste, about the monarchs of modern Scandinavia.
